Meters

What are the symptoms and conditions that cause LC Meter lock-ups and how do I prevent?

Is your diesel dispenser showing any of the following symptoms:

  • There is trickle flow (1-2 GPM) when the dispenser is authorized for full flow and the nozzle is open, but no gallonage is displayed?
  • The meter output shaft is not turning even though there is flow from the nozzle?
  • There is full flow for a short time, then flow drops to trickle flow, or no flow for no apparent reason?
  • The meter was recently replaced, and is now locked-up just like the previous meter?
  • When the meter has been removed, it appears to be “locked-up”?

If so, download PMP Pulse – Technical Bulletin No. 47 LC Meter Lock-Ups

How do I identify a Bennett SB100 meter with a different outlet orientation?

There are some SB100 meters with a different dome (outlet) orientation relative to the calibration dial. The outlet orientation is indicated by adding a suffix A, B, C, or D to the PMP part number. PMP can then ship the meter with the correct outlet orientation to you. “A” is the standard orientation. All versions use the same installation kit. Cores are interchangeable.
